Dr Medina-Lopez finalist at Young Professionals Green Energy Awards

Dr Encarni Medina-Lopez, a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute for Energy Systems’ Policy & Innovation Group, is a finalist in the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards.

Dr Medina-Lopez has been nominated for the Academic Award, recognising those who have achieved beyond all expectations, those who are pioneering new ideas and have the drive and ambition to change the renewable energy industry for the better.

“I am really proud to be a Finalist in the Young Professionals Green Energy Awards. I believe the awards are a great way to share your work, but moreover to connect young experts in renewable energy.

My work involves the engagement with marine energy developers for a wide range of topics. Most recently, I have been working on the validation of numerical tools for optimisation of ocean energy arrays.”
