Dr Antonin Chapoy

Dr Antonin Chapoy holds a DEA (MSc) in Chemical Engineering (Université d'Aix-Marseille, Marseille, France, 2001), an MSc in Energy Engineering (Institut Universitaire des Systémes Thermiques et Industriels, Marseille, France, 2001) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering (Paris School of Mines, France, 2004). Following completion of his PhD, he joined the Centre for Gas Hydrate Research at Heriot-Watt as a Research Associate. Dr Chapoy has over 8 years research experience of gas hydrate and hydrocarbon phase behaviour, and has managed a wide range of projects, predominately sponsored by industry. Currently a Research Fellow at Heriot-Watt, he is first or co-author on over 90 refereed journal and conference publications, primarily concerning gas hydrates, flow assurance and water-hydrocarbon phase behaviour.
