Biography
Dr Stokes is a Lecturer in the Institute for Micro and Nano Systems (IMNS) at The University of Edinburgh; where he is the Programme Director for the MSc in Bioelectronics and Biosensors. He also teaches BEng/MEng Digital Systems Design 3 & Computer Organisation and Architecture 4. He is an interdisciplinary scientist and engineer, and a founder of The University of Edinburgh FabLab. He holds degrees in engineering, biomedical science, and chemistry. Before joining the faculty at Edinburgh he was a Fellow in the George M. Whitesides group at Harvard University.
