The Summer Science Exhibition showcases the most exciting cutting-edge science and technology research. It provides a unique opportunity for members of the public to interact with scientists and ask them questions about their work.
Competition for the exhibition is very strong and the University has achieved success by attaining invitations to host two stands in July 2014.
A new £10 million innovation hub, which will bring together Scottish universities, including Heriot-Watt, with industry partners has been launched in Glasgow by Fergus Ewing, MSP, Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Tourism.
Heather May, who graduated with a First Class MEng in Chemical Engineering in June 2013, has received a prestigious Graduate Prize from the Salters' Institute. She received her award from Mr Mark Callingham, Master of Salters Company and Sir William Castell, Chairman of the Wellcome Trust, who delivered the address at the prize giving ceremony on 29th November.
